According to the Huffington Post, David has committed to the University of Hawaii, making him the first athletic 350-pounder not to commit to an SEC school in years…

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone that big run that fast. Kid is gonna be a huge asset to his college team.

    This kid’s crazy. Do you really think someone with that size can actually make it in college or even the pros as an rb?

      Personally, I don’t think so. He may have a shot as a FB on the college level, but that’s about as far as I see a 300+ pounder making it in the backfield.

      For comparison, Charles Grant, former NFL defensive end, was a running back in high school at 280+ pounds. According to a very “reliable” source– Wikipedia– Grant “[w]as a Parade Magazine 1997 All-American. He tied runningback Chuck Rumbley’s state single-season touchdown record with 45 in 1997 and added 3,472 all-purpose yards. Totaled 101 touchdowns in his three-year career at Miller County (Ga.) HS”
