Each Friday I’m going to try to bring you a list of 5 follows to improve your hopelessly addicting twitter feed. So, for the first “Follow Friday” in Sports Righting history, I present you with the Top 5 Follows for NFL Fans:
5. @willbrinson
Bio: CBS Sports @EyeOnNFL Sr. NFL blogger. Married to @AKWBrinson, living in Raleigh. Braves/NCSU. Rucker Park name: McGillcuddy.
Sample Tweet: “SportsCenter just reported that SI reported ESPN is close to hiring Ray Lewis according to sources.”
Why You Should Follow: In making a “Top 5 Follows” list for Twitter, a balancing act occurs between expert analysis and overall entertainment. Luckily, Brinson brings both. His football savvy tweets are filled with dry humor, and it is absolutely shocking to me that he has less than 10,000 followers. So go follow him and thank me later.
Bio: WalterFootball.com
Sample Tweet: “2013 NFL Mock Draft updated – http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.php “
Why You Should Follow: Everyone has their preferences. When it comes to analysis surrounding the NFL draft, my preference is Walter Cherepinsky, a.k.a. Walter Football. I started reading Cherepinsky’s stuff 3 or 4 years ago, and he has become my number 1 source for the NFL draft. To this day, I believe he was one of the first, if not the first, to mock Robert Griffin III at number 2 in the draft. So, if you keep up with the NFL draft, he’s worth a follow.
Bio: Football dork for Yahoo Sports; Editor of Shutdown Corner. Team player with rebellious tendencies
Sample Tweet: “‘Okay — where do we get an offensive coordinator who can get us some of them one-point safeties?’ Rex Ryan, in the Bahamas”
Why You Should Follow: Honestly, if I could only follow one person on twitter, it would be Doug Farrar. I use twitter to read news, unique analysis, and funny quips. Since I really don’t care about any news other than football, Farrar provides all three. He’s incredibly witty, yet even more knowledgable. It is extremely evident that Farrar studies the game, and for any fan who appreciates in-depth analysis, Farrar is a great follow.
Bio: Father, Husband, Son, University of Michigan graduate, and ESPN NFL Insider.
Sample Tweet: “Ray Lewis announced he is retiring at the end of the season.”
Why You Should Follow: The number 1 news source for all things NFL- bar none.
1. @PeytonsHead
Bio: You’ve seen me on the football field, on tv. Face it. You can’t miss me. Eli’s big brother’s head, making fun of NFL, sports, and my size.
Sample Tweet: “Just told Eli(te) that I’d love for him to come spend time with his neice and nephew. Mainly because I’m gonna be busy with football.”
Why You Should Follow: Parody account and absolutely hilarious. No further explanation needed.

Followed every one of these guys except Schefter. tI would violate my religious principles to follow anybody from the Evil Sports Prostitution Network.
I totally understand the sentiment. I can’t part ways with some of their personalities though: Adam Schefter, Scott Van Pelt, etc.
